Annika Sorenstam is a professional golfer in Sweden. She is known as one the most accomplished female golfers of all time. In 2008 she stopped playing competition golf. Annika had her big break in 1995. At the US Women Open, she was the rookie for the LPGA of this year. She was also the first woman outside of America to take home the Vare trophy. Along with that Annika got a spot among the Money list. She decided to stay away from the tournament in the 2008 season. Actually, she pitched her first baseball pitch that evening. The most recent win on tour was in the playoff in the Suzhou Taihu lady's open. Ladies European Tour and Ladies Asian Tour were the main sponsors of this event.
